Madara Uchiha (うちはマダラ, Uchiha Madara) was a legendary shinobi, co-founder of Konoha and leader of the Uchiha Clan during his time. Also, he was the past reincarnation of Indra Ōtsutsuki. Later, he was revived in the Fourth Shinobi World War to fight against the Great Shinobi Alliance, revealing his true intentions, making him the main antagonist of the series. Madara managed to capture the nine Tailed Beasts, seal them in the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, and thus become the third and final Jinchūriki of the Ten-Tails. Madara was a tall man with fair complexion, black hair, which had a slight blue tint to it. When he was younger, he had shoulder-length hair and wore the standard Uchiha Clan uniform: a large black collared shirt, with the clan emblem on the back, which Madara tends to leave slightly open, and blue pants with bandages around his shins. Around his waist, he had a belt that held a bag, presumably, containing his ninja tools. During the past few years, he was seen with his hair grown even longer and his headband was replaced with a belt, adorned with bags and various weapons. Also, he wore another sash tied over his shoulders, which is used to keep the numerous swords from him. In adulthood, his hair had grown to his waist, with shoulder-length bangs, framing one side of his face, covering his right eye completely. Although he is still relatively young, the most prominent wrinkles had developed in each of his eyes. In most cases, his attire took the form of the standard, ninja dress from his time, consisting of bright red traditional armor (similar to samurai), worn over a black bodysuit. simple. This armor was constructed from numerous metal plates, fashioned into multiple protective devices along his body, in particular: his chest, waist, shoulders, and thighs. Unusually, his chest plate left his back fully exposed, presumably in order to better display his clan crest. This clothing was accompanied by boots and gloves, as well as the village protector on his forehead, after the truce with the Senju Clan and the founding of Konoha, but this was discarded upon his defection. During the battle, he wore an orange Gunbai on his back, which had a tomoe pattern, bright red in color, on the top two corners. In his old age, Madara seemed very worn out, his black hair turned thin and white. He wore a simple black outfit, and had three thick ropes running from his spine to the Outer Path Demon Statue to sustain his life. He also suffered from a missing right eye, and used his Kama as a makeshift staff. When Madara was revived by Kabuto Yakushi, he took on a youthful appearance, unlike when he had died as an old man. During his battle with the Five Kages, a replica of Hashirama’s face was revealed to be on the Uchiha’s chest. After the release of his contract with the reincarnation of the Impure World, the cracks on his body, produced from his reincarnation, disappeared. As a child, Madara had shorter hair, wearing a black colored Kimono, held back with a white bow. Upon becoming the Jinchūriki of the Ten Tails, Madara undergoes a series of changes in his body, his hair turned reddish brown (white in the anime) and his skin acquired a grayish hue, a kind of headband sprouted, with a type of horns, his arms and legs turned black, in addition to wearing a robe that seems to be made of Chakra, which has six magatama on the chest and nine on the back, under an image of the Rinnegan, with two lines to his side. Also, while in this form, Madara can create a Shakujō out of his Chakra and create a halo of spheres behind him. After absorbing the trunk of the Tree God, Madara gained an increased number of magatama on his sleeves and at the end of his mantle, this transformation is similar to the mantle worn by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki’s mother, Princess Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Also, by removing the plate from his forehead, Madara showed that he possessed a third eye, equal to that of the Ten-Tails and Kaguya. After being released from the Ten-Tails and Kaguya’s essence, Madara lost all abilities and physical characteristics that he previously possessed, returning to his normal form, also losing Hashirama’s face from his left chest.
