Rock Lee (ロック・リー Rokku Rī?) is one of the characters in the manga and anime series Naruto. He is a genin from Konoha who agrees to the Chūnin Exam with Neji Hyūga and Tenten, all of whom are Might Guy’s disciples. Rock Lee is a tribute to Bruce Lee; he does not have Kekkei Genkai, nor can he fight other than with Taijutsu. His dream is to prove that he can be a great ninja by mastering only Taijutsu (melee techniques). He overcame his initial inferiority to the native ninjas with great will. He is also very formal, sensitive, polite and respectful but when he drinks sake (Japanese liquor) and gets drunk he becomes a rowdy master of drunken boxing (酔拳 Suiken?), a style of Kung Fu.
