For this drawing the shape is simple, so the challenge is matching the colours that you see! With watercolour I find it best to paint a base colour first, for this painting I use yellow, and then add more washes later. I do not use white, so for the highlights I scratch into the watercolour paper with a bradawl, anything sharp would do.
